Yahoo! Publisher Network recommends Chitika
Do you like this story?
Yahoo is closing it’s doors for small publishers participating in the Yahoo! Publisher Network. The self-service beta program, known as Yahoo Publisher Network Online (YPNO), will be shut down on April 30, 2010. This will affect only small publishers while large, direct publishers and partners will continue to enjoy the service, Yahoo made it clear on a blog post.
Yahoo didn’t provide a specific reason for the shutdown of the YPNO, but said that after an “extensive review” it decided to shut the program down on April 30, 2010. In an e-mail sent to participating publishers, Yahoo said that it will pay publishers for the month ending April 30, 2010 no later than May 31, 2010.
So, Yahoo Publisher Network Beta game is finally over! What to do now? Don’t worry, there are many opportunities for small publishers like us. In fact, Yahoo! is already recommending Chitika for the small publishers at Yahoo Publisher Network. Not bad! Similar to YPNO, Chitika is a leading advertising network that syndicates Yahoo Content Match and Sponsored Search ads.
Yes, you can make money online with Chitika. To serve highest-paying ads on your pages, Chitikauses Contextual Targeting, Search Targeting and User Targeting. It also offers two payment methods – PayPal and Check payment. PayPal is good, isn’t it? And the good point it, you can run both Chitika and Adsense ads on the same page. You can also earn additional revenue by referring publishers to Chitika. Referral commission is 10% and is valid for 15 months after a publisher starts using their ads.
So, publishers from Yahoo! Publisher Network Online, join Chitika today.
